This Tag Is Making Me Hungry

Back in SoMa, I enjoyed chronicling the latest graffiti trends.

Well, I'd like to bring that same spirit to my new home in the East Bay. But I find some of the tags over here a bit puzzling.

Here's one I spotted at the corner of Ashby and San Pablo, near the Oakland border.



Udon? How is that an acceptable tag?



Where are his buddies Miso and Pho?

UPDATE: I was thinking about it, and actually "Pho King" would be a pretty cool tag — considering that pho is supposedly pronounced "fuh."

When I worked in Sunnyvale, we used to go to a place called the "Pho Queen."



I always hoped they would open a "Pho King." But when they branched out to San Jose, they named the second location, "Pho Queen 2." What the pho? Such a missed opportunity.
