Hitting Bottom

I came upon this scene last weekend on Folsom Street (near 5th): a stuffed gorilla face down against a chainlink fence, with a Chinatown pink bag next to him, surrounded by malt-liquor bottle caps.



I'd say that pretty much sums up the neighborhood.
